Wouldn’t It Be Nice If …

images.jpeg

The Beach Boy’s sang the words “Wouldn’t It Be Nice If … we were older and didn’t have to wait so long.”  Or “wouldn’t it be nice if we could live in the kind of world where we belong.”

They were on to something beautiful.

They knew how to dream and use their imagination to see their lives a little nicer.

Spiritual Teachers Abraham -Hicks use the phrase “Wouldn’t it be nice if … ” to help others reach for a better feeling place and to create something different in their lives.

I LOVE this technique for the ease of shifting the mind.

A better feeling place is where your power resides.

Have you ever gotten anywhere from feeling hopeless?

Have you ever produced what you wanted when you felt this way?

Not likely.

So instead of focusing on the hopelessness of what’s in front of you.

Dream up something better.

Every thing you see that’s good in this world was first an idea before it came into fruition.

When you focus on your ideas often enough that they start to FEEL real , then you are getting close to creating the essence of that idea.

So start here.

Wouldn’t it be nice if …

  • I ate healthier food
  • My body was stronger
  • My health was better than yesterday.
  • I could pay just one bill.
  • I could pay all my bills.
  • I had money in the bank.
  • I could share wealth with others.
  • I felt like I belonged
  • I did what was right for me.
  • My relationships were more loving.
  • I didn’t hold on to that grudge.
  • I thought happier thoughts.
  • I laughed more.
  • I added to the peace of the world.
  • My family played more games.
  • I could travel with family and friends.
  • I found the perfect job for me.
  • We all loved each other more.

Now make up your own.

Wouldn’t it be nice if …

The “Bad” Experiences are Just as Valuable as the “Good” Experiences.

Unknown.jpegimages.png

Do you label your experiences as Good or Bad?

Your feelings as Right or Wrong?

Both are equally valuable.

Both lead you to turn in the direction of what you want and where you want to go.

Both help refine your choices.

Don’t discount those rocky roads.

Don’t abandon something because it’s “just too tough” or “not what you expected.”

The rewards, the learning, and the sense of accomplishment is on the other side of discomfort.

Rocky roads are bumpy, tedious, and sometimes super slow!

Instead of giving up or thinking “this is so hard it just can’t be right.”

Realign your thoughts.

Know that You CAN Do Hard Things.

Tell yourself.

“I CAN Do Hard Things.”

Because the truth is … you Can!

On the other side of discomfort is more confidence and a knowingness that you CAN do what needs to be done when getting where you want to go.

Don’t let discomfort turn you away from an exceptional learning experience or from exceptional outcomes.

Realign your thoughts.

Keep moving towards what you want.

Know you have the ability to get through tough situations.

To Be Grateful OR Not To Be Grateful

images.jpeg

A growing body of research continues to support that an attitude of gratitude has tons of benefits – it improves your relationships and helps you feel like you’re bonding better with others. It improves your emotional well being because you release those good feeling hormones in the brain when you think thoughts that feel good. It also improves your health because it has been shown to calm anxiety, help you sleep better, and decrease feelings of depression.

But gratitude is not just about keeping a journal or saying thank you. In order for gratitude to truly transform your life it’s important to:

  • Feel the gratitude in your body because it’s a practise, it involves both a mental and emotional shift.
  • Lessen the activities that are the opposite of gratitude. The practise of gratitude is not just shifting into the feeling of appreciation but also shifting out of unappreciative habits that keep you in low energy.  Habits like:
    • complaining
    • blaming
    • criticizing
    • having an irritable disposition
    • raging at other drivers
    • rushing around with your kids

If you want the benefits of gratitude you also need to look at how you’re blocking gratitude in your life.  How can you STOP the block of gratitude? It’s an important part of creating the life you want.

To truly create the positive flow of energy that gratitude brings, you may want to make this shift – consciously choose gratitude but also be consciously aware of when you’re choosing something else.

In gratitude:)

LOOK FOR A WAY TO SOAR!

images-1

The way you feel is your vibration.

If you want to attract something good, then you have to reach a good-feeling place.

If you want to attract something great, then you have to reach a great feeling place.

Many just look at what’s in front of them-producing a “feeling” vibration equivalent to what already exists:

daily sadness or irritability
financial debt
a poor marriage
an overweight body
recurring illness

If you want to create something different start by creating better feelings.

When you feel better your personal energetic vibration is higher and you attract other higher energy thoughts, feelings, and circumstances to you.

When you feel better you don’t need to compensate for feeling bad by over-spending, eating high caloric foods, arguing with your spouse, creating inflammation in the body because of stress etc.

Do something today that will raise your vibration:

watch funny videos on u-tube
play uplifting music
read inspirational books
dance
choose a better feeling thought
help someone out
clean out your junk draw

Consciously look for ways to let your energy Soar!
Your vibration will be uplifted.
Your life will be rewarded.

KEEP YOUR FIRST STEP CLOSE AND YOUR NEXT STEP CLOSER

Unknown

Go to your closet and pick an outfit that you feel great in. Can’t find one? Pick the everyday outfit you feel best in.

Comb your closet for a few others like this that you can mix and match and let that be your wardrobe. Wear only what you feel good in! Feeling good is the optimal phrase here.

Some people suggest you pick your “ultimate goal” outfit. I’m suggesting that along with your current cloths ( that you feel good in) you also pick a goal outfit for motivation but don’t make it your “ultimate” goal make it your “next” goal. Choose something that’s close to where you are right now instead of 3 sizes smaller.

Your “next” goal outfit may be something that’s a little too tight but maybe a 1/2 size or a size too small.

Make it achievable. Make it believable.

You need to believe you can reach your goal. You need to feel it in order to make it happen.

Once you’ve made this little leap and you’re in the “next” goal outfit, pick another three at this new level and wear them while you make your next shift in weight loss.

You get the idea. From here, from this new plateau things look brighter. From here pick your new goal outfit all over again. Again, it should be close to where you are now and not a distant 4 sizes away. You want to move into the energy with ease.

With these small steps you’ll build momentum to reach your ultimate goals in size, weight, and health.

You’re more likely to stay the course when a few more steps will get you to a new level instead of a few thousand steps.

Reach for the stars! But try star hopping.
Do it in a way that’s attainable.
Do it in a way that feels easy.
Do it in a way that feels good.

Feel Good First

FEEL GOOD FIRST

You might think, “I’ll feel good when I become fit and healthy.”

But the path to health or any other desire you may have is directly linked to feeling good first.

A pickle for most people because logically it seems it’s easier to feel good once you have what you want.

But that gives away your power.

All your power lies in the present moment.   This is where you create the life you want and tapping into your emotional guidance system will help you get there.

Feeling good means alignment.  Feeling good means you’re choosing thoughts that offer relief.  Feeling good means your mind is clear and your body is at it’s best for this moment.

When you actively participate in feeling good, everything in your life will line up more easily.  You’ll receive inspiration to move towards your desires.

If one of those desires is to be fit and healthy then you’ll be inspired to Do, Think, and Be fit and healthy.

Feel good first.

Find relief.

Pay attention to how you’re feeling and make the shift into something lighter.
